Art as Activism
Art can be a powerful form of activism. It can be direct or indirect, its message bold or subtle. Art can educate, inform and inspire; it can document and serve witness; and it can create fanciful visions of the past, present and future. In all of these ways, art offers new insights, perspectives and interpretations of our realities, just as it depicts, and suggests, alternatives we might pursue.
